| Easter's at Easter...A Family Tradition! A Great Night for all in Attendance The “Easter’s” at Easter at Family Traditions Lighthouse! Again this year Jeff, Shari and family played to a SOLD OUT HOUSE for our annual Saturday before Easter concert. Jeff and Sheri Easter and their family as usual brought a brilliant performance of Gospel music and humor to our stage, truly a “Family Tradition” at the Lighthouse. For Jeff and Sheri, gospel music is genetically programmed into their DNA. As members of acclaimed musical families—Jeff’s father is one of the Easter Brothers and Sheri’s mother is a member of The Lewis Family—they grew up surrounded by the sound of people praising God through their musical gifts. This tradition certainly continued on our stage at Family Tradition Lighthouse Saturday April the 3rd, as all present can testify to, with a mixture of down home humor and praise inspired singing the Easter's delivered a performance to be remembered. The audience came from all over including a bus that made the journey all the way to Chambersburg from Canada.

Lizzy Long - Fiddle, Banjo, Guitar, resonator banjo, vocals...
Having roots in the heart of the south, Elizabeth Long, or Lizzy as her friends and fans know her was born on a farm in Lincolnton, Georgia. She began her music accomplishment at an early age and her interests are very eclectic ranging from Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn to the Earl Scruggs Revue to Fleetwood Mac. While starting out on the piano, Lizzy soon took up the fiddle, guitar, autoharp, bass, banjo, and mandolin, and has become an accomplished musician, alternating between these instruments as part of her entertainment repertoire. Continuing her quest for success, Lizzy has paired up with Little Roy Lewis from the legendary Lewis Family. Lizzy finds that singing helps to express her thoughts and emotionswhether happy, sad, disappointed or angryand, in her own words, I dont have to answer why, why not or even when
.I can let it just flow, and her extraordinary voice shimmers with strains of Americas musical roots. Lizzy has been nominated for three Dove Awards and has won several fiddle and talent contests. Little Roy summed it up the best, "pull a plank off the wall and she'll play it!"
